Exit Point
Thank you so much to all of the parents and carers who came to our exit point quiz on Monday afternoon. It had a really wonderful atmosphere, it was fantastic to see you joining in and having fun and the children loved the chance to share some of their learning with you!

STARS OF THE WEEK | |
Literacy In Year 4 this week we have been finishing off the last literacy element of our Active Planet unit. We have done amazing research on Pompeii and the eruption of Mount Vesuvius and this week we have been planning and producing different types of information texts to present what we found out. We have been really independent and resilient! In Year 3, we have been thinking about creating setting descriptions. We got to invent a setting for a story and then had to use all of the descriptive language that we have been learning about to really bring our settings to life! | Maths Year 3 have been real problem solvers in our maths learning this week. We have had to use our thinking and enquiry skills to identify ways of trying to solve problems, be resilient to keep trying new ideas and even be communicators to share our ideas. What brilliant learning. In Year 4 we have been learning all about 3D shapes this week. We remembered the names of some common 3D shapes, practised talking about their features and properties and got to make some 3D shapes from nets. Why not have a look around the house over the holidays and see how many different 3D shapes you can find! |
