STARS OF THE WEEK!
In Year 4 this week we have been working really hard on learning, creating and retelling a series of volcano myths from around the world. We read the different myths, found out where they came from and then practised retelling them with our partners. Following on from this, we planned out how to turn these simple stories into amazing stop-motion animation videos! It was a lot of hard work and we had to use amazing teamwork and communication skills, but we are really proud of what we have made. Fantastic learning!

This week has been very busy in Year 3! We finished off the letters we had been writing to our families and Ms. Gemma and Ms. Jessica have put these in the post. We can't wait for you to receive them! We have also started learning about volcano myths from around the world in a similar way to the Year 4's. We have read the myths and are starting to understand them and are now going to turn them into a comic strip to retell their stories.
In our maths this week, Year 3 have been learning about measuring liquids. We learned that the units we use when doing this are litres and millilitres and have practised measuring capacities using different containers and scales.
