In our HISTORY learning we have been practising the skill of finding information from different sources. Using this skill we have found out all about the history of chocolate. We learned that some of the first people to discover chocolate were the Aztecs, who lived in what is now called Mexico. We also found out about the Spanish explorer Hernan Cortes and what happened when his expedition invaded the Aztec empire. Why don't you ask us about it to find out what we remember! |
Our Stars | Reminders Please remember that children go home at 11:30 on Thursday 1st October. 4T have their class assembly on Wednesday 7th October. It would be great to see lots of 4T families there! |

Can you remember what equilateral, isosceles and scalene triangles look like? What makes them different? We have also practised using Venn and Carroll diagrams to help us to sort information. Try the games on this website to help you practise what we have learned! | In Year 4 this week we have been finishing off our learning about similes by concentrating on the story of The Gruffalo. We have learned about using paragraphs to organise our writing and have created fantastic descriptions of the Gruffalo using everything we have learned over the past 3 weeks.
