In Year 8 the learners have been investigating war propaganda and how the message given by the government might be different to what is actually happening, and why this might be important. They are currently creating a piece of propaganda from World War 1. They are looking at how they communicate their point to the people living through the war. This has meant that they have had to look carefully at how a message can affect people, and what features they could add that would make their propaganda more effective in getting men to join the army, hate the enemy or get women to join the war effort
