Learning Journey
Year 6
In art the learners researched animals that were endangered. They found out the reasons why they were endangered and how many remained in the wild. In order to promote their plight we decided to make paper mache animals to raise awareness. We focused on working cooperatively and considered proportion carefully. We also looked at paint effects including how to create realistic hair paint effects. The results of our hard work really paid off as you can see!
Year 5
In maths this week we have continued with data and graphs. Y5 designed surveys to collect data then created bar graphs to represent their findings. We have been focusing on ensuring that the graph has all the correct features and that the scale is most appropriate for the data collected.
