This week we have been looking at Summer. We looked closely at the changes in weather patterns and activities people enjoy around the world during summer time. We enjoyed threading sun patterns and made ice-cream decorating it with shapes. We had fun making sandcastles. We also made sunflowers with paper plates.
In math we have been learning about more and less. We enjoyed playing mucky monsters on the Interactive whiteboard.
In phonics we have been playing mix-pair-share using rhyming words. We have also been practising Phase 1 aspect 2' General Sound Discrimination: Instrumental Sounds' through letters and sounds games and activities.
This week we have been learning all about thefestival of Thanksgiving. We talked about why and who celebrated Thanksgiving. We also discussed the favourite foods to eat at a Thanksgiving dinner. We really enjoyed making a 3D turkey with a toilet roll and paper. We had a circle time and shared with each other what we are thankful for.
