The Year 9 learners have continued to develop their historical skills, using a variety of primary and secondary sources to investigate why people voted for Hitler. They have been challenged to think about the justice of a society that were allowed to democratically elect Adolf Hitler, this enabled the learners to develop their knowledge of post-World War 1 Germany, learning about the events leading up to Hitler’s rise, making links between the cause and effects that led Hitler’s rise to power. The learners have then applied this knowledge to write an essay to show what reason they think is the most important for why people voted for Hitler.
