We hope you had a restful break and enjoyed the Water Festival celebrations!
This week in MP3 we have been celebrating Family Learning Day! On Tuesday families were invited into lessons and encouraged to take part in our learning. Families took part in Literacy, maths, learning journey and a range of specialist subjects. Please enjoy the photos below!
Learning Journey
We had to know a list of cities in different countries and understand how weather climate can change across a country depending on directions.

Maths
Year 5 have interpreted horizontal and regular bar graphs and showed understanding by writing questions for each other based on those graphs. They have also collected our own data and then chosen the most appropriate graph to display this information.
Literacy
In Year 5 learners have been preparing for writing an exciting recount about residential. They have looked at the features of recounts, written a comic about their water festival holiday using features of recounts. They have also looked at the story of Red Riding Hood from 2 different perspectives (wolf and red) and then wrote recounts of their version of events.
