ENRICHMENT TASKS
Maths
Both Years 5 and 6 have taken part in some fantastic treasure hunts this week! These have involved the learners moving from question to question in order to solve the sequence of letters. In Year 6 we were finding the volume of complex and simple cuboids whilst Year 5 were measuring angles and using angle facts and reasoning to find missing angles. This was a great way for us to demonstrate our understanding as well as develop our communication and cooperation skills. | |

Year 5 also completed a BIG WRITE showing 2 sides of an argument. They were answering the question 'Should iCAN learners be allowed to bring their own snacks to school?' Our learners focused on backing up opinions with evidence or supporting statements, editing and improving their work and having a discussion/debate using the facts.
