We have had a super busy week in Milepost 2! This week, as a part of our International Mindedness learning, the adults took us on a trip to the World Dining Food Court at AEON Mall. We looked at the different restaurants, worked out which countries were represented and even examined some menu's to find prices and ingredients. Best of all, we got to sample delicious food from 3 different countries. We tried yummy margarita pizza from Italy, scrumptious stir-fried pork and basil from Cambodia and beautiful butter chicken from India. What an amazing learning experience. |
This week in Year 4 we have been learning to make our writing more mature by giving clues. We have practised describing characters, but instead of telling our readers about them, we have given clues so that they need to use their imaginations. It has been great to see how much more exciting this makes our writing! | In Year 3 this week we have continued thinking about persuasive writing, building on our learning from last week. We have used our learning from SOCIETY in our learning journey to think about arguments for/against being vegetarian and have written a letter to present these. |
