This week in our learning journey, Milepost 2 have been historians, as we have been learning about the time of the dinosaurs. We have discovered that dinosaurs lived during the Mesozoic Era and that within this there were three different time periods. Can you remember what they were called?

STARS OF THE WEEK
MATHS In Year 4, our maths learning this week has all been about measurements. We have thought about the different units used to measure length and weight, have found out about imperial and metric units and have have learned how to convert between them. It has been really interesting applying all of this to what we have found out about dinosaurs. In Year 3, we have been using the learning we began last week about fractions and extending it. We have been practising finding equivalent fractions and have even thought about adding and subtracting fractions. It has been tricky, but we have made lots of progress. LITERACY Across Milepost 2 our literacy this week has all come from our learning journey. We have been making Top Trumps cards to share information about dinosaurs, we have researched each of the different dinosaur time periods and found out what they were like and we have been trying to use lots of new and tricky vocabulary when we have been talking and writing.
