Milepost 2 have loved the beginning of our new Footprints From The Past unit this week. We are so excited to be learning about dinosaurs and have really loved beginning to use our research skills to find out more! We have been concentrating on the HISTORY skill of being able to find information from a number of sources this week, using books, fact cards, websites and PowerPoint presentations to find out as much as we can about different types of dinosaurs.

STARS OF THE WEEK
YEAR 3 This week in Year 3 we have been focusing on fractions in our maths learning. We have practised recognising different fractions, thought about how to break numbers and shapes up into fractions and even had a go at adding some simple fractions. Super learning! In our literacy learning we have been linking with our dinosaurs learning journey unit. Using the information we gained and after practising reading for information, we thought about how to take notes and using these notes to create Top Trumps style cards giving information about the dinosaurs we had concentrated on. | YEAR 4 |
