This week we have been revising all the animals we have been learning through out the learning block. We explored tuff spot tray activities such as Arctic and Antarctic animals in the snow, African animals in the soil, leaves and branches. We also drew our favourite animals around the world.
For our Exit Point we enjoyed playing with small world animal toys sharing our knowledge and understanding through information books and pictures. We also explored a large world map to find out the continents and which animal lives in which continent.
This week in maths we have been revising our counting skills and number recognition. We have also been practising to form recognisable numbers. We enjoyed counting number games using the interactive white board. We had fun revising 2D shapes through playing cooperative structure games such as Showdown and Mix-pair-share.

This week we have been learning all about ordering numbers up to 20 and beyond. We made our own gingerbread men, baked them and decorated them with raisins and sprinklers. Later we eat them before they run away during our snack break.
